AI training and transformation for client service teams

The image is a stylized pink starburst shape with eight points, set against a white background.

Smarter onboarding. Stronger proposals. Clients who stay as they grow. AI for Client Services gives your team the tools and the workflows to become the kind of partner clients don't want to lose.

Most AI training teaches you the tools and leaves you to figure out the rest. AI for Client Services is a structured, hands-on programme designed to embed AI into every stage of the client lifecycle. Your team leaves with workflows they've built, prompts they trust, and a transformed approach to client relationships – with human judgement and relationship intelligence firmly at the centre.

Most client services teams are leaving AI's biggest gains on the table.

Your team is talented, experienced and stretched. And while AI is changing how work gets done across the creative industry, most client services professionals haven't yet found a way to make it work reliably for them – in their day-to-day, across their accounts, in the language and rhythms of their day-to-day work.

The result is a growing gap between what your team is capable of and what they have the time and headspace to deliver.

From reactive delivery to strategic client value

AI for Client Services gives your team three things that change not just their output – but how they show up for clients, every day.

  • A circular graphic with a light gray inner circle and a dark green outer ring, centered on a black background.

    The confidence

A clear, grounded understanding of how to use AI in client services contexts: what it's genuinely useful for, where human judgement remains essential, and how to build trust in your outputs.

    The capability

Practical AI skills your team will use from day one: summarising client context, interrogating briefs, drafting proposals, documenting meetings and spotting growth opportunities – faster and to a higher standard.

  • Two large overlapping circles, one pink and one orange, on a black background.

    The workflows

The ability to build and operationalise AI processes across your team's daily work – so the momentum continues to build, long after the programme ends.

The result?

A client services team that doesn't just work more efficiently – but has the tools, the prompts and the strategic confidence to build more valuable client relationships on every account.

Why Spark AI?

Spark AI works with you to build AI capability inside your organisation – providing the training, governance, roadmap and AI workflows your team needs to lead AI adoption for yourselves. When the programme ends, the capability stays.

And it compounds. Once the flywheel is in motion, your team has all the skills to implement your strategy, build AI enabled workflows, and continually gain momentum.

The man on the right has light skin, dark hair, glasses, and a black hoodie with white drawstrings. There is a laptop, a water glass, and some papers on the table.

Who it's for

This programme is designed for the people responsible for client relationships, briefing, proposals, project delivery and account growth – whether that's at a creative or digital agency, or within an in-house brand team managing internal stakeholders.

  • Agency client services, account management and project management teams

  • In-house brand and marketing teams managing internal stakeholders and campaign delivery

  • Client directors, account directors and senior account managers

The more of your team that attends, the more powerful it becomes. Shared language and shared workflows are the point – not individual experimentation.

What you’ll cover

AI for Client Services runs across a full day of hands-on training – covering every stage of the client lifecycle – followed by a half-day build day two weeks later, where your team applies the skills directly to live work.

The programme is made up of four modules, plus a build day.

The programme is made up of six chapters:

  • Before you can serve a client brilliantly, you need to understand them thoroughly. This module teaches your team to use AI to build that picture faster – and keep it sharp.

    • We'll cover how to use AI to synthesise client context from existing documents, briefing notes and account history.

    • You'll learn how to map stakeholders systematically and use AI to anticipate risks before they become problems.

    • You'll build a client context summary, a stakeholder map and a risk log for a real account.

You'll leave with a repeatable onboarding process that gives every client the quality of attention your best work demands.

  • Vague briefs cost agencies time, margin and client confidence. This module teaches your team to interrogate a brief effectively – and turn it into something clients want to sign off.

    • We'll cover how to use AI to identify what's missing from a brief and generate the right questions before you've written a word.

    • You'll learn how to use AI to structure a proposal: framing the problem, shaping the solution, and making the narrative land.

    • You'll build a smart question set, a structured proposal template and an SOW outline your team can use immediately.

You'll leave with a briefing and proposal process that's faster, sharper and more consistently compelling.

  • The day-to-day of client services is where time disappears. This module is about getting it back – without losing the quality of communication clients expect.

    • We'll cover how to use AI to generate accurate meeting notes, action lists and client recaps – faster than writing them from scratch.

    • You'll learn how to build reusable comms templates for the moments that come up every week: kick-off docs, status updates, issue escalations.

    • You'll build a kick-off document, a comms template and a meeting summary generator tailored to your team's accounts.

You'll leave with a set of tools that make the operational side of client services feel less like overhead – and more like a competitive advantage.

  • The agencies that grow accounts fastest aren't working harder. They're working with more clarity, more consistency and more strategic intent. This module teaches your team to use AI to spot opportunities and have more strategic client conversations.

    • We'll cover how to use AI to review campaign performance and surface insights worth sharing with clients proactively.

    • You'll learn how to use AI to identify growth opportunities across an account portfolio – and structure the thinking into something actionable.

    • You'll build a campaign wrap summary, a growth idea bank and outreach prompts your team can put to use straight away.

You'll leave with the tools and the confidence to move from delivery partner to strategic advisor – on every account.

  • The most common reason AI programmes stall isn't a lack of enthusiasm. It's a lack of ownership.

    • You’ll learn why AI programmes fail without clear accountability – and how to build the structures that prevent it.

    • We'll work with you to design an effective AI taskforce that works for your organisation and culture – with clear roles, responsibilities and decision rights.

    • You’ll agree how AI decisions get made, reviewed and evolved – so governance enables progress rather than slowing it down.

You'll walk away with a defined AI taskforce structure with clear roles and responsibilities, and first-sprint priority actions assigned to named individuals.

  • Each team chooses a specific workflow to improve – briefing, onboarding, QBRs, feedback loops – and builds an AI-enhanced version using their own tools, templates and documents.

You’ll leave with a set of live prompt templates, a workflow guide, and a draft of your internal AI playbook.

FAQs about AI for Client Services

  • Not at all. This programme is designed specifically for client services professionals, not technical teams. If you can use a browser, you can use everything we teach. No coding, no complex setup – just practical tools applied to the work your team already does.

  • Your team will need paid subscriptions to at least one AI platform – ChatGPT, Copilot, Gemini or Claude. Access to a deep research tool such as Perplexity is also helpful. Not sure what to use? We'll be happy to advise based on your existing setup.

  • We don't offer hybrid delivery. The programme works best – and your team gets the most from it – when everyone participates in the same format, in the same way. You can choose in person or online, but we ask that the whole team commits to one.

  • Bring examples of real client work – proposals, briefs, client context documents, account plans. These become the raw material for building your own AI workflows and assistants during the session.

  • AI Foundations is a half-day foundation session for your whole organisation – building shared language, confidence and responsible use across all roles. AI for Client Services goes significantly deeper, focusing specifically on how to embed AI into the client services workflow: briefing, proposals, account management and growth. Most organisations start with AI Foundations and progress to the role-specific streams of the AI Accelerator soon after.

  • AI for Client Services is one of five streams within Spark AI Accelerator – each designed for a different function within an agency or brand team. Some organisations run this stream standalone; others run it alongside streams for creative, strategy, operations and leadership. We can advise on the right approach for your organisation.

  • Yes. We offer optional add-ons including coaching, custom AI assistant builds and workflow refinement sessions. Our goal is to build capability that stays – and if you want to keep building, we're here for that.

  • AI for Client Services is part of the Spark AI Accelerator and is scoped based on your organisation's programme. Book a call and we'll give you a clear picture of the investment.
