Spark Sessions: How one small agency built its own AI operating system

A new episode of Spark sessions goes live on Tuesday 30th June at 14:15pm. Spark Sessions is our monthly webinar series where we invite agencies to share a live demonstration of AI working inside a real team.

Sparks co -founder, Emma Wharton Love, is joined by Jason Bradwell, the founder of B2B Better, a B2B podcast and thought leadership agency based in Bournemouth.

Jason will deliver a live demo of B2B Hub, the internal operating system his team built to run the agency end to end. He shares what it takes for a small, focused team to build its own AI tools, and why it was worth doing. B2B Hub started as a few simple tools for turning podcast transcripts into blog posts. It now runs their website, their project management, and their content production, all built on Claude Code.

They will discuss the "iron triangle", the old promise that work can be good, fast, or cheap but never all three, and how AI has changed what clients now expect. Building his own system means that he stopped buying off-the-shelf software, and built tools around how the agency actually operates.

💡 You'll see:

How the backend organises data so a plain instruction in the terminal pulls the right files and gets to work

The front-end tool hub the whole team uses, including a press release generator that drafts against real client context

A real page built live on the B2B Better site, from copy to design to development

Why a small team chose to build rather than buy

The "sandwich" approach, where humans shape the input, AI handles the middle, and humans own the output

✅ Ideal for agency founders, creative and content directors, heads of operations, and small team leaders exploring out how to build AI into how they operate.
