AI for Operations
Part of Spark AI Accelerator
Tighter checks. Numbers you can trust. Less grind.
The discrepancy that slips through on a Friday. The scope that quietly creeps until the margin's gone. The delivery risk nobody flags until it's already a problem. Operations runs on hundreds of small checks, and the cost of missing one usually shows up at the worst possible moment.
AI for Operations is a hands-on programme, run over a day and a half, that teaches your team to catch these things early, turn messy internal inputs into clean records, and interrogate the numbers your leadership relies on, with human judgement at the centre of every check.
Most AI training teaches your team the tools and leaves them to work out the rest. AI for Operations is different: a structured, hands-on programme built around your own plans, contracts, data and reports. Over a day and a half your team learns to pressure-test a plan before it's locked, reconcile one source against another and surface what doesn't match, turn an internal meeting into a clean record, and interrogate a burn-rate or budget report properly. They leave with workflows they'll use from day one and, where it helps, their own AI assistants built in the session. Throughout, we show why the right data matters, so what your team checks and trusts is actually sound.

Operations are the backbone of every agency
Every account, every delivery, every leadership decision sits on top of operations working properly underneath it. When the systems are loose, it shows up everywhere: in the daily admin that quietly eats hours, and in the bigger reports where one small error carries a real cost. And it tends to surface at the worst possible time, when you're under pressure to deliver, in front of a client audit, or across the table from a new investor.
WAITING ON CONFIRMATION
AI for Leaders gives your senior team three things most organisations are missing when it comes to harnessing AI effectively.
-

The workflows
The workflows to spot problems early, while there's still time to act. This takes the friction out of running the agency, so there's more room for the work that moves things forward.
-

The confidence
A clear understanding of why the right data matters, so what your team checks and reconciles is actually worth trusting.
-

The skills
Hands-on training throughout, so the capability stays with your team long after the programme ends.
The result?
You walk away with a systematic engine for growth – a roadmap to align your team around, a taskforce to deliver it, and a flywheel that keeps you moving forwards long after we’re gone.
Why Spark AI?
Spark is a transformation partner to agencies and brands building AI capability that lasts. We give your team the workflows, the judgement and the assistants they need to run operations better themselves, rather than depending on us to do it for them. When the programme ends, the capability stays, and it compounds: once your team has the skills, they keep finding new places to put them to work.
Who it's for
This programme is for the people who keep an agency running, from day-to-day admin through to the systems leadership depends on.
Operations managers and coordinators
Project, delivery and resource managers
Anyone responsible for reporting, delivery tracking or internal process
What you’ll cover
AI for Operations runs over a day and a half, covering four core disciplines built on your own delivery, data and reporting, plus a set of assistant-building modules.
Each discipline is a menu: you choose the applications that matter most to your team rather than working through every one, so the time stays focused on your real priorities. Every exercise uses your team's real work, and human judgement stays at the centre of every check.
-
Give AI a role and one of your own delivery documents, and it will surface the gaps, shaky assumptions and feasibility problems a first read skips past. This family builds that habit into how your team plans and starts work.
You'll choose the applications that matter most to your team, not work through all of them. Options include:
Plan and schedule interrogation: hand AI a project plan and have it challenge the timings, dependencies, sequencing and missing steps before the plan is locked.
Predictive delivery risk: staffing gaps, unrealistic timelines and bottlenecks spotted early.
Kick-off and scope alignment: scope, deliverables, roles and assumptions checked before a project starts.
Resource and capacity matching: a project's requirements weighed against your team's real skills, seniority and capacity.
Whichever you choose, you'll build a working prompt against a real plan or scope from your own business, and leave with a repeatable way to pressure-test any plan, scope or resourcing call before you commit to it.
-
Comparing information against a reference and catching the discrepancies is exactly the kind of work that's easy to rush and expensive to get wrong. This family makes it fast and rigorous instead of one or the other.
You'll choose the applications that matter most to your team, not work through all of them. Options include:
Data reconciliation: compare information across systems, spreadsheets or reports and surface what doesn't match, for a human to review.
Contract, NDA and compliance red-flagging: unusual clauses, missing terms and obligations surfaced for human review.
Deck, artwork and production QA: errors, missing assets, brand issues and deviations from the internal brief.
Whichever you choose, you'll build a real check against a dataset, contract or set of files from your own work, and leave with a fast, rigorous way to catch discrepancies before they reach a sign-off, a client or an audit.
-
Unstructured internal input in, structured internal output out. This family takes the write-up out of your team's evenings.
You'll choose the application that fits your team. The options are:
Internal meeting notes and actions: turn a recording or a scrappy set of notes into a clean summary with decisions, owners and next steps.
Project washups and retrospectives: pull lessons, recurring issues and reusable recommendations out of a finished project.
Whichever you choose, you'll build a working template against a real internal meeting or project from your own business, and leave with a synthesis process that turns any unstructured internal input into something your team can actually use.
-
The manual versions of the operational reports that matter most. This family is built for analytical quality: exporting and interrogating the numbers stays a hands-on process here, with automation as a separate step if you choose to build it later.
You'll choose the applications that matter most to your team, not work through all of them. Options include:
The burn-rate and margin snapshot: export your project commercials, upload them, and interrogate budget against quoted and actual time, spend and margin, so you can see whether a project is on track before it becomes a profitability problem.
Budget leakage: unbilled work, scope creep, over-servicing and missed change requests brought into view.
Operational and leadership reporting: pulled from your PM, timesheet and finance exports.
Whichever you choose, you'll build a real health check against your own agency's numbers, and leave with a rigorous, repeatable way to interrogate the reports your leadership team relies on. Exporting and interrogating stays hands-on here; automating the fetch is a separate build if you decide it's worth it later.
-
Small, persistent internal tools built in the session itself, so each discipline above becomes a capability embedded in your team.
You'll build at least one internal assistant, chosen from the options that would save your team the most time. These might include:
An HR and people-ops assistant
An incident and support assistant
A skills and capability mapping assistant
A licence, renewal and vendor tracker
We'll also show you how to turn any of the day's techniques into a custom GPT, Gem or Copilot agent your team can reuse, so you leave with at least one working assistant, ready to use from day one.
What your team will gain
By the end of the programme, your team will have:
The ability to interrogate plans, scopes and resourcing decisions, catching gaps and bad assumptions before they cause a problem
Stronger reconciliation and checking skills, so discrepancies get caught before they go further
A repeatable way to turn internal meetings and finished projects into clean records, without the manual write-up
Rigorous, hands-on analysis for the commercial reports that matter most, so leadership decisions rest on evidence
Custom internal AI assistants, built in the session
Spark AI Accelerator certification, a mark of their capability in operational AI

FAQs about AI for Leaders
-
Yes. Foundations gets everyone to a shared baseline, so we can go straight into operational applications without covering the basics again.
-
Yes. We interview you and survey your team during onboarding to understand where you are and what matters most, then tailor the programme around your operations.
-
We don't offer hybrid delivery. You can choose in person or online, but we ask the whole team to commit to one format.
-
The tools will keep changing; the process won't. Once your team knows how to interrogate, check and reconcile, they can apply it to whatever tools come next.
-
We'll agree together what's safe to bring into the session, so contracts, financial data and NDAs are handled with the right care throughout.
-
The hands-on building is included in the programme itself, so each discipline you choose ends with a working tool rather than a promise to build one later.
